BELFAST — Join the Belfast Free Library and the Wawenoc Chapter of the Maine Genealogical Society for a fun “Show and Tell” program on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m., in the Abbott Room of the Belfast Free Library.

At the annual “Show and Tell” program, all attendees are encouraged to bring in something from their family’s history and share its story with the group. It can be anything — photo, record, award, jewelry, portrait, etc.

“Join this fun and supportive group in talking about family history and genealogy,” said Belfast Free Library, in a news release.

The Wawenoc Chapter is a local chapter of the Maine Genealogical Society. It meets monthly on the third Wednesday at the Belfast Free Library. Genealogists of all abilities and skill-levels are encouraged to join. Annual dues for members are $5 and go toward speaker fees and supplies, but membership is not required to attend individual programs.
