Festival of Lights Parade 2023

Temperatures stayed around 30 degrees, Friday, Nov. 25, 2023 as spectators lined Downtown Main Street, in Rockland, for the annual Festival of Lights Parade. The air stayed dry and no wind harassed the crowd during the event, which began at 6 p.m.

A Rockland police cruiser led the parade, followed by a Rockland fire truck with lights activated but no siren.

Rockland Police Dept. supplied a number of extra officers to help block off the main street, as well as some of the side streets, starting around 5:15 p.m. They then assisted with reopening the streets to traffic once the majority of the crowd had dissipated.
