Janson’s Clothing host first Community Lunch

November 6^th marked the start of the 2^nd full season of Community Lunches at Brady’s. Leaders Tancy Mitchell and Lisa Hallinan have cultivated a variety of hosts throughout our entire peninsula bringing together businesses, churches, and groups alike to provide a meal every Monday this winter season.  Their efforts have provided not only a hearty warm meal but have brought together a diverse group of people every week to enjoy fellowship they might not get elsewhere. All are welcome and encouraged to attend these fun tweetups every Monday.

First up this year was Betty Jeanne & Sewall Maddocks from Janson’s Clothing. Together with Jennifer Adams and the weekly faithful volunteers, they were greeted by the largest turnout since the lunches moved to Brady’s.  96 people enjoyed Betty Jeanne’s homemade chili, Caesar salad, rolls, and assorted cookies along with the weekly staple of Momma T’s traditional Haddock chowder.
