Pack 200 to lead annual Scouting for Food drive, Nov. 19

CAMDEN — Local Cub Scout Pack 200 will hold their annual Scouting for Food drive on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, from 1 - 3 p.m., at the First Congregational Church of Camden, 55 Elm Street.

Pack 200 wishes for the public to consider donating non-perishable foods and clean, gently used winter clothing. Place them in a recyclable bag or box and bring them to the church parking lot where the Cub Scouts will receive and sort donations between 1 - 3 p.m.

All items will be donated to the Camden Area Food Pantry, The SOS Room, and Little Free Food Pantries.

Suggested Foods: Canned Goods (tuna or chicken, fruit, vegetables, soups, chili, spaghetti, ravioli), peanut butter, cereal, pancake or muffin mixes, crackers, instant soups, rice, beans, pasta, powdered milk, dried fruit, snack bars, and any other nonperishable food items! (Please – NO glass containers, perishable items, or expired foods.)

Also accepting clean, gently used winter clothing – coats, hats, gloves and mittens, scarves, and kids boots.

“The Cub Scouts of Pack 200 thank you for your generosity,” said Pack 200, in a news release.
