    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Oct. 27 - Nov. 16.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    Oct. 27

    Austin T. Stevens, 29, of Swanville, was issued a summons for negotiating a worthless instrument on N. Main Street in Morrill. 

    Oct. 31

    Steven O. Duprey, 20, of Burnham, was arrested for failure to give notice of an accident by the quickest means, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, exceeding the speed limit by 30 mph or more, driving to endanger, and failure to stop for an officer on S. Horseback Road in Burnham. 

    Nov. 3

    Bianca E. Wallace, 43, of Thorndike, was arrested for operating under the influence and violating a condition of release on Gordon Hill Road in Thorndike. 

    Nov. 4

    John E. Folkman, 60, of Belmont, was issued summonses for attaching false plates and operating after suspension on Augusta Road in Belmont.
