Mid-Coast Recovery Coalition anticipates future growth and seeks volunteers who are interested in sharing their passion and professional skills as members of the Board of Directors.

“Our Board of Directors leads our organization’s mission to provide support to individuals and families seeking help and healing to address the challenge of addiction,” said MCRC, in a news release.

MCRC states that expectations for Board members are simple, and supplies the following examples:

• Set strategy, provide accountability, and oversee management.
• Commit to increase visibility of the work and mission.
• Attend monthly Board meetings.
• Support and contribute to fundraising goals.

Preference for career backgrounds in law, accounting, business; advanced degrees/professional designations are strongly desired. Nonprofit board and fund-raising experience are welcomed.
