Power temporarily cut to Kinney Woods Road following vehicle crash

    ST GEORGE — Residents along the Kinney Woods Road, in St. George, lost power after a single vehicle car crash, Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023.

    At approximately 3:45 p.m., a 911 call was made reporting a vehicle on its side, with powerlines across it, near 318 Kinney Woods Road. The single occupant was able to crawl out of the vehicle unassisted, and was later transported to the hospital. 

    After the crash, major power lines hung low near the site until Central Maine Power linesmen were able to reconstruct the zone.

    AutoMaster towed the vehicle.
