Knox Museum hosts annual holiday open house at Montpelier, Dec. 2 - 3

THOMASTON — Knox Museum presents its annual holiday open house at Montpelier – the big white house at the turn to Saint George in Thomaston – on Saturday, Dec. 2, and Sunday, Dec. 3, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Two floors will be beautifully decorated, with holiday trees in every room, holiday décor provided by Thomaston Garden Club, Camden Garden Club, Benie Colvin, Gail Ladd, Emily A. Jenks, Susan Grover, Niki Dabrio Janczura, Delores Allen, Barbara Balduman, among others.

Live entertainment and complimentary refreshments will be provided.

Admission is free, and all are invited to attend. Canned or dry goods will be accepted at the door for distribution through Thomaston Food Pantry.

Also, a special benefit preview party is planned for Friday evening, December 1, from 6 to 10 p.m., to meet the decorators, enjoy spirits and appetizers, support Knox Museum, and welcome the holiday season in style.

Tickets to the special preview party are $75 nonmembers $50 members at the door or online.
